The Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat, BMW, star designer Patricia Urquiola and textile designer Giulio Ridolfo have worked together, creating a daring design sculpture.  “The Dwelling Lab” blends creative and technological expertise, and is based on an innovative car concept. The unique sculpture by Patricia Urquiola and Giulio Ridolfo is a translation of the concept of the BMW Series Gran Turismo. The interior of this unconventional car has been turned into a into a design installation  whose most daring elements – huge cone-like structures that seem to be growing out of the car’s body, draw the viewer inward just as they reveal the usually sealed-off interior to the outside gaze.
