Dordoni designes for Kettal
Published: Fri, 2010-09-24 07:30Bitta is an extensive collection that comprises a dining room and living room set. The furniture features a combination of aluminium structures, braided polyester cord and cushioned seats. The table tops are in teak and stone. Rodolfo Dordoni has aimed to create dense braiding, that will still let the air through, a technique reminiscent of the braiding of the ropes used to moor boats. The name of the collection has the same origin; "bitta" means "mooring" in Italian. The pieces look lightweight but at the same time cosy and protective.
