The Aarhus company Ego won the Formland Design Award – Spring 2010 for their "Ego magnificent", a new textile collection for use in the kitchen. The collection has been created out of the bamboo fibre that until now was surplus to the company's design production. Bamboo is a functional and a sustainable material.

The winning product has been designed by the VE2 group from Aarhus. The collection comprises tea towels, potholder, oven mitt and apron.
