Unusual cuts

Stephan Veit has designed the new table Brando, for Emmebi.
The idea which gave birth to the table Brando is the archetype of the table itself, covered with a long table cloth, that reaches to touch the floor. The table legs have been “cut out” as they should go round the cloth. This unusual cut is what gives the peculiar shape to the table.
Following this idea the top has a 45° cutting where the legs have been inserted. It is as if the table has been cut out from a single wooden piece, since the top and the legs appear as a whole.
